This title was a quote from my friend Rebekah when she saw the inside of this vintage camper was decorated with scrapbook papers, ha!

Emma's Paperie | Don't Grow Up

It's sketch challenge time at Emma's Paperie!

I used the Dear Lizzy Lovely Day line to make this happy and bright page.

I'll stay a kid at heart forever ;)

PLS | So Sweet

You can find me over at the Pretty Little Studio blog today, I've got a sweet page made with the Here + There collection!

Gossamer Blue | Getaway

This layout is about the time my girly and I had the most delicious breakfast in bed.  Apologies in advance for the crazy puffy eyes in the photo ;)  This is how the mama looks when she has to share a bed with her kiddo and husband.  HA!

I used the Gossamer Blue June Main Kit to create this page, starting with the awesome ticket paper that I cut into strips and sewed to my background paper.

I used a few other Main Kit papers to mat the photo, then added the large die cut right on my photo for the title.

I left the right 1/3 of the layout as white space, keeping the chipboard and die cut embellishments above and below the photo area.  Doing this keeps all the embellishments going in the same direction so to speak, from top to bottom of the page.

I love the rubber embellishments in the June kits, that little heart is just adorable.

We went to our first-ever PBR event on this trip, and it was AWESOME.  Look for some cute cowboy photos to be documented soon!

Good stuff,

Gossamer Blue | June Weekend

As you probably already know, Gossamer Blue has added a few new kits to their line up.  The Planner Kit has been going strong for a few months and I just wanted to share how I use it for my scrapbook pages.

The GB kits are all-exclusive and brand new each month, which means the type of embellishments we receive change with each kit.  June's Planner Kit has a ton (and I mean a ton) of die cuts.  I pulled out all of the beach/ocean themed die cuts from the pack and was left with a gazillion pieces to use on my page.  The round June label and the weekend banner were the inspiration for this page and the photos I chose.

I mat the two photos and decided their placement, then added all these die cuts along the right side, and around the photo, on my layout.

Included in the mix are some cork and rubber embellishments, plus some enamel dots, to give a bit of variety and texture among all the die cuts.

I think the page turned out quite fun and is a good documentation of my girl's first ride on the ferris wheel with her Uncle K.

Having fun!

Emma's Paperie | Adventure Awaits

I was so drawn to the Boho Dreams collection by Kaisercraft, and, lucky for me, the color challenge at Emma's Paperie matched it perfectly!

Emma's Paperie | I Like Big Bows

This week we are focusing on Crate Paper over on Emma's Paperie blog.  I chose the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams line.

I drew a giant heart with my Silhouette and then machine-stitched the perimeter with white and gold thread.

I like big bows and I cannot lie...

PLS | Good Things

It's my day on the PLS blog, head on over to Pretty Little Studio to see how this layout came together.

Gossamer Blue | Snapshots

Happy Reveal Day!

I have been creating like crazy with the all-exclusive Gossamer Blue kits!  The June kits are packed with bright and happy colors and I've got several projects to share with you this month.

This page was made with the June Life Pages and Main kits; I started by cutting down the ticket paper to make individual tickets, then used Life Pages cards to mat my Instax photos.

I used my sewing machine to stitch through the tickets, then added a die cut and some chipboard embellishments above the top photo.

The bottom photo got a puffy sticker, chipboard, a tag and another trimmed out ticket.

This layout was looking a little too simple for me, so I cut a few strips of the main kit papers and stitched them along the bottom of the page.

Nothing too fancy, but it captures the feeling of my last girls night out with our local MOMS Club.

It was a bittersweet evening, but as the girly grows the things I'm involved with change.  Next stop: Kindergarten for the girl and PTA for me ;)

Hug your babies,

PLS | Love You Everyday

I've got a new mixed media post for Pretty Little Studio HERE.  Please head over to the PLS blog to read how my layout using the Blooming Hearts collection came together.

Emma's Paperie | Love Your Smile

It's all about florals over at Emma's Paperie!  I'm using the Oh My Heart line from Pink Paislee, there are so many yummy florals in this line, what better way to document my girly's Fairies and Gnomes birthday party?

Keep smiling!

PLS | Crafty Girl

I can't get enough of the Ain't Life Grand collection at Pretty Little Studio.  Read all about my newest layout HERE.

Maya Road | Lovely

It's my day on the Maya Road blog!  This month we are focused on all the amazing resin embellishments available in the Maya Road Store.

I hope you head over and see all the detail photos of this page, those resin pieces really are stunning.

Stay lovely,

Gossamer Blue | Excited

We got to babysit this sweet girl a few weeks back.  It made Q's day.

I wanted a soft page to document the photo, so I grabbed the amazing clouds paper in the Gossamer Blue Main Kit for May.

I mixed items from the Main Kit with the Planner Kit to make this layout.  I liked the smaller size die cuts, perfectly delicate and sweet for a baby page.

Since I'm not a planner girl, I tend to use the flag sticky notes as banners on my layouts and in my TN.  I added these with adhesive at the top and then machine-stitched through them.

This 3x4 card just made me happy, and because babies are magical.

I cut the bottom part of the decorative paper clip off and stuck it behind my photo, framing it with a die cut and then adding in other pieces for a bit of whimsy.

I continued with the bits and pieces below the photo and banner.

A soft page for two sweet girls!
